Legal information

Privacy Policy — Website www.patiflo.be

This document is being finalised. The full legal identity of the operator will be added before the official launch (see the legal notice). The content below accurately describes the data processing actually carried out and will remain valid in substance; only the legal entity's details will be completed.

This policy covers only the marketing website www.patiflo.be — that is, your visit to the site and any access request you may submit. If you are already a Patiflo user, the application privacy policy applies to your day-to-day use of the tool.

Who is responsible for your data?

For everything relating to the website, the Patiflo operator (see legal notice) is the data controller under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What data do we collect, and why?

Browsing the website

No personal data is collected simply by browsing the site. Audience statistics are measured using Plausible Analytics, a tool designed to set no cookies and track no individual visitor — the figures we see are aggregated and anonymous.

The "Request access" form

If you fill in this form, we collect:

  • Your first and last name
  • Your e-mail address
  • Your field of activity (e.g. general practitioner, physiotherapist…)
  • Your NIHDI/INAMI number, if you choose to provide it (optional)

Why? To assess your request, respond to you, and grant you access to the application if your profile matches the professions targeted by Patiflo (independent healthcare professionals managing consultations and insurance billing).

Legal basis: taking steps at your own request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

How long do we keep this data?

  • If your request leads to the creation of an account, your details then follow the retention rules of the application (see the corresponding privacy policy).
  • If your request does not lead to an account, or remains unanswered, your details are kept for as long as necessary to process your request, then deleted.

Who do we share this data with?

No one. The access request form is sent directly to contact@patiflo.be. No data collected through the website is sold, rented, or transferred to a third party for commercial purposes.

Where is your data stored?

On servers located in Switzerland, at Infomaniak. Switzerland benefits from an adequacy decision by the European Commission under the GDPR: transfers of data to Switzerland are therefore considered to offer a level of protection equivalent to that of the European Union, without any additional safeguards.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to the processing of, and port your data. To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@patiflo.be. We commit to responding within a reasonable timeframe and, in any case, within the timeframes set out by the regulation.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (APD/GBA — www.autoriteprotectiondonnees.be) if you believe your rights are not being respected.

Cookies

The website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. No consent banner is therefore displayed.

This policy may be updated, in particular as the official launch approaches. The date of the last update is shown at the bottom of this page.
